Mecha, or mechanoids, are large robotic machines that are operated by one or more pilots or even an onboard AI. These machines are composed of a multitude of parts that constitude their being. These parts are classified differently and will be listed below.
Head: The top most portion of the mecha and not all have to have this particualr component. These can contain mechanisms that facilitate targetting for weapons or navigation even.
Torso: The mid section of the mecha and the most essential part of the mecha. This is where the pilot or pilots would be positioned inside the mecha if the head is not present or not the control center. All mecha are required to have a torso piece in order to be approved.
Arms: Operational limbs of the mecha, they allow for the use of hand held weapons such as guns and bladed weapons. These parts are divided into the four basic components of the arm (shoulder, upper arm, lower arm, and hand), but only take up a single part slot. The arms may also contain one built on weapon on the forearm, as well as one on the shoulder.
Legs: Operational limbs of the mecha that focus on mobility and can contain thruster parts built in. These are capable of holding two weapons each and one on the top portion of the leg and one on the lower leg.
Tail: A non-essential part of the mecha. This goes on the lower portion of the mecha's torso can contain one weapon, whether it is the weapon or has one on it.
Backpack: This can be any sort of backpack. The kind that is wings or otherwise. These go on the upper back of the mecha and can contain a single weapon slot.
Power Supply: An essential part of the mecha that facilities operation of the mecha overall. At least one of these is required per mecha. This can be made out to be anything from reactors to chi, or otherwise.
Misc: These are parts that do not fit into one of the above sections, due to the variety of this field it is entirely up to the mind of the creator.
All created mecha can have a maximum of eight of any of the above parts, but are still required to fit the requirements of a power supply and a torso. Additional parts slots can be obtained later on.
Fusion: A secondary part type that can be unlocked alter on. This is taken into further details on the FUSION RULES tab.
Weapons: These do not count towards the part count on the primary mecha and each new mecha can start with two weapons on any part of the mecha. Further details on weapons are covered in WEAPON RULES.
