On Deus Galaxis all mecha, ships, ect. have their own level that determine how fitted they are for combat and how much they have seen. Each unique mecha that a character owns has its own level. Here we will be discussing how a mecha's level is determined and how it has an effect on other mecha in combat.
Every part of a mecha, ship, ect. Levels up on its own and does so based on the number of posts that part itself has been in. The players are expected to keep track of this number in the Warehouse tracker that can be created after character approval. All parts start at level 1 when acquired unless otherwise stated. A chart below will hsow the progression of a part as it levels up based on post count.
This chart will be updated as becomes applicable. So keep a lookout for updates.
When a part levels up it gets one stat point. This can be put into either the Attack or Defense stats. Saving up five of these points will also give the owner the option to give their part an effect.
Points can be awarded for site events or old, unused parts can be turned in for a number of parts equal to their level -1 and given to any part you own.
The mecha, ship, ect.'s level is determined by the total level of all parts and weapons combined divided by that number of parts+weapons. If this number equals to a decimal you round up to the nearest whole number. This is where the level that determines Spirit use comes from.
In combat the total mecha level will determine what effects this has on combat. If you are more than double your opponent's mecha level the fight becomes a handicap and the terms of the fight can be decided between the players and a mod who will help with this. Various effects can come of this from giving the weaker fighter(s) a buff or offering temporary benefits. (Note: When more than one opponent are facing an opponent, their levels are added before determining if Handicapping is necessary.)
